“They blared their horn at a very high degree and entered the school compound. I told them it is a school premises and should not come here to do politics,” the Assistant headmaster of the school, Mike Adzie, told TV3 news.

He said about three teachers were beaten with several of the students sustaining various degree of injuries from stones thrown at them by the supporters.

Mr Adzie said the incident has been reported to the police in the area for further investigation.

Meanwhile, the parliamentary candidate for the PPP in the area, Felix Nartey has denied the claims by the school authorities.

He said the teachers are rather responsible for the attacks, as they directed the students to throw stones at his supporters after claims that the campaign team was interrupting lessons.

He maintained that the campaign team made a turn at the Kpeve High School as that happens to be the only option available for them.
