Goodluck Jonathan Ex-President, Wike in closed door meeting

Wike's spokesman confirmed the meeting, saying Jonathan left immediately after the meeting for a private engagement at Okrika, his wife's home town.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan and Governor Nyesom Wike on Saturday, March 18, held a closed-door meeting at the Rivers State Government House.

Wike's spokesman, Mr Simeon Nwakaudu, confirmed the meeting in a statement, saying Jonathan left immediately after the meeting for a private engagement at Okrika, his wife's home town.

The statement said Wike's Chief of Staff, Engr. Emeka Woke, the Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Hon Kenneth Kobani and the Edo State PDP Chairman, Chief Dan Orbih were also in attendance.

The outcome of the meeting was however not disclosed.
