President John Dramani Mahama will resume his “Accounting to the People” tour of the Greater Accra on Tuesday June 21, 2016.
He made this known when members of the presidential press corps called on him at the Flagstaff House on Monday June 20, 2016 to sympathise with him following the demise of his mother.
He added that the tour of the three Northern regions would be put on hold due to the Ramadan period which is also considered as Muslim’s holy period.
The first gentleman of the Republic appreciated the Press Corps for calling to share in his grief and lauded their work at the corps of the Presidency.
Spokesperson of the corps, George Ramsey Benemba revealed that the news of the death of “our grandmother” came as a shock to the press and was appropriate to find time to commiserate with the President.
