The Vice Presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has cast his vote at the Kperiga Presby JHS in the Walewale Constituency in the Northern Region.

His wife Samira Bawumia also voted at the same polling station in the constituency.

He said, "The wait is over. Please go out and vote peacefully."

However, the flagbearer of the Progressive People's Party Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has cast his vote in the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abirem (KEEA) constituency in the Central region.
