Posters of former Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur as a presidential aspirant for election 2020 on the ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have emerged.

It is unclear whether Mr Amissah-Arthur has a hand in the manufacturing of the posters.
However, the Daily Guide newspaper reports that the posters emerged barely 24 hours after news broke that the former president, John Mahama would not contest the 2020 elections.
Reports say the emergence of the posters have sparked brouhaha in the party as some leading members, especially those hoping to contest as presidential candidates are against the move.
Nevertheless, some party members in Kumasi, who spoke to the Daily Guide on condition of anonymity, believed that if indeed Mr. Amissah-Arthur is hoping to lead the party for the next elections, his performance as Vice president did not impress many and hence might spell doom for the party.
