A private legal practitioner and a deputy communications officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has asked pollster Ben Ephson to consider writing about nutrition than engaging in election surveys.
Yaw Adomako Baafi believes Ephson does not come close to credible individuals who conduct pre-election surveys and hence his recent survey should be ignored.

Pollster Ben Ephson has predicted that President John Dramani Mahama will secure a first round victory in the 2016 elections.
He said his latest poll indicates that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate will win by 52.4% while the New Patriotic Party’s Nana Akufo-Addo will secure 45.9%.
The other parties, he said, will claim a meagre 1.7%.

But speaking to Accra FM on Monday, the NPP communicator said: “If he uses his paper to write about nutrition issues, it will serve him better than what he is doing. We want serious pollsters from the University of Ghana and other places, not Ben Ephson. Who is he when it comes to pre-election surveys?
“The people that he is doing the survey for, the NDC, some of them have even said he is a liar. Obuobia Darko, contesting the Weija-Gbawe seat, has said he is a liar. Former President Rawlings, who founded the NDC, even said he was a bootlicker. Someone whose paper just writes about Ashantis and Akyems and all that cannot be taken seriously.”
