Veep confident of NDC victory in 2016

Amissah Arthur said the hierarchy of the party will work with them to get more people to understand the NDC’s message of fair and equitable development

Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has said the future of the National Democratic Congress depends on the hardwork of party members.

He expressed this confidence at the party's headquarters when he went to pick forms on behalf of President John Mahama.

Mr Amissah Arthur who was accompanied by some party stalwarts said the party is still united to win the 2016 elections.

"The president is seeking this nominations with a deep sense of humility and of responsibility adding the party is confident that the people of this country will re-new that mandate," he said.

"We are not worried about internal competition, the president is confident that he will be victorious in the party selection process and will not expect that as a democratic party, other people may have ambition for his position but does not begrudge them," the vice president added.
