“There would be no all die be die during the elections. The elections would be peaceful.”
Addressing fishermen, fishmongers, canoe owners and chief fishermen at Axim in the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira constituency in the Western region, Mr. Mahama noted that this year’s election will be peaceful and violent free.
He said “When two teams are about to play a football match and the other starts attacking the referee then it means that team is aware that they will lose. Even ahead of the match they are saying the pitch is not good, the marking is bad and all sorts of things."
“The one who knows will win is cool and collected, has any of you heard any member of the NDC insulting the EC?, it is because we know God is on our side and we will win the elections. We know we will win the 2016 elections and continue with our good words,” President Mahama said.
