Taxi drivers light up polling stations for counting

According to reports on the ground, the skies have gotten darker in the polling stations hence the decision by observers to switch on their flashlights and car lights to augment visibility.

The Electoral Commission provided rechargeable lamp to each polling station to aid in the counting, but it seems they’re not bright enough for the purposes

La Dadekotopon is currently held by the ruling party’s Nii Amassah Namoale, and he is facing stiff competition from the opposition NPP’s Sowah Odotei.  The constituency is the 8th largest in the country with a population of 119,966.
