The special voting exercise has resume this morning Sunday, December 4, 2016 in all 275 constituencies following widespread hitches on Thursday.

It forced the Electoral Commission to extend the exercise to today after thousands of eligible voters on the special voting list could not cast their vote.

The extension was reached at an Inter-Party Committee meeting following the hitches.

Figures from the EC shows that 92,231 out of 127,875 voters were able to vote on Thursday, representing a little over 70 percent.
