"The destiny of a Nation does not rely on trial and error leaders but in systems that work," this is according to the Chief of Staff Julius Debrah when he paid a courtesy call on the the Wa Naa and President of the Wala traditional council as part of his six day tour of the Upper West region.

It would be recalled that the leader of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo Addo was calling on Ghanaians to try him as President but the able Chief of Staff said it does not work that way.

The Chief of Staff who is in the region to represent his boss President John Mahama who is in New York in the USA for the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), said the NDC government is working assiduously to transform Ghana and Change lives via workable and tested policies.

"Countries like China, Malaysia or Singapore have achieved more because they kept a particular government that was doing something right to continue, saying, being a president should not be premised on trial and error," the chief of staff stated.

He indicated that as had been acknowledged by the Chiefs and people across the country that the NDC system is working in the area of transforming the country's infrastructure, there is every justification to keep President Mahama and the NDC in power for another eight years.

He goaded the rank and file of the party to intensify their engagement with the people and to explain the manifesto to the people to make Victory on Dec 7th a certainty.

He used the occasion to encourage party supporters to be vigilant and work to enable President Mahama and the NDC to win to continue with the good works he had begun.

He noted that the next NDC government under President Mahama would enhance the agricultural sector and make it attractive to all especially the youth.

He said the NDC intends to improve the systems of agriculture by introducing modern farming implements to make farming charming and appealing.
