Former Finance Minister under the Kufour administration Yaw Osafo Maafo has been delegated by president-elect Nana Akufo-Addo to lead his transition team.
The Chief-of-Staff, Julius Debrah, is also leading the transition team of out-going president john Mahama.
The formation of the transition is in accordance with the provisions of the Presidential Transition Act 2012 (Act 845), the minister of communications, Edward Omane Boamah said in a statement.
Other members of Akufo-Addo's transition team include:
1.Frema Osei Opare- Head of the Staff of Office of the President-elect2. Gloria Akuffo- Member responsible for Legal Affairs3. Ken Ofori- Atta- Member responsible for Finance4. Ambrose Dery- Member responsible for the Interior5. Dominic Nitiwul- Member responsible for Defence6. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey- Member responsible for Foreign Affairs 7. Hajia Alima Mahama- Member responsible for Local Government8. Albert Kan Dapaah- Member responsible for National Security
