The Director of Fundraising of the NPP said even though they were having challenges in raising funds for their campaign activities, they were optimistic the determinant of the 2016 elections will not be the party with the highest spend.

"I am not really moved by that because I think there is a certain spirit moving through the nation for change and that trumps it all," he said.

"I think there is a fourth component – that is whether the Lord is anointing this thing or not".

He said considering the number of supporters that thronged the International Trade Fair Centre to witness the launch of the party’s 2016 manifesto, if the NPP “is a broke party, then it means the Lord's hand is in it and we doing extremely well," Mr Ofori-Atta told Accra-based Joy FM.

Ofori-Atta argued that the number of people at the party’s manifesto launch which was held at the Accra International Trade Fair Center attest to his stance.
