The Presidential nominee of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom will today name his running mate for the 2016 general election.
Dr Nduom mentioned on Accra-based Starr FM that the nominee is female from the Eastern Region. But he was quick to add that she was not a member of the party.
For him, his choice gives meaning to an “all inclusive” and “Ghana first agenda”.

Dr Nduom also predicted a run-off in the upcoming election. He said “the elections will go into a second round. I am sure that if we get our things right there will be three pots and we will figure out at the end which three would move up.”

According to him the two major political parties in the country do not have the goodwill to win the elections. He said the PPP is doing all within its power to make sure it wins power.
“The NDC doesn’t have the good will to win...the NPP is also not as strongly organized to be able to say we are going to go and do our one shot deal, we know we have to grow, we know we have to work so we are working so we can compete,” Dr. Nduom noted.
