Filing of nomination forms for the upcoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries will open on August 27 through to September 10, 2015.

Women and disabled persons who wish to contest the parliamentary primaries are to pay 50 percent of the fixed filling fee of 10, 000 cedis.

The decision was reached at a crucial meeting by NEC of the party Thursday afternoon.

The party’s General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia who chaired the meeting announced that the NDC being a disability and gender bias party, has resolved to slash the filing fee by fifty(50%) for prospective candidates who are women and physically challenged.
