“Election management is a different ball game altogether...“I am taking [the matter] up at IPAC.”

The Chair of the Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC), Charlotte Osei, on Tuesday, August 23 told a gathering of news editors that the Commission will employ the services of members of GBA and ICAG at the Constituency Collation Centers in the December 7 polls.
“When we are tallying in the collation process to remove errors, we think it may be beneficial to have another layer of checks so the lawyers will make sure that the forms are properly filled and the accountants will check and make sure that the numbers have been added up properly,” Charlotte Osei said.
Meanwhile, Communications Director of the Commission Eric Kofi Dzakpasu, has said the use of lawyers and accountants will not be definite, as the recruitment process will be open.
