Mahama to begin campaign in Western Region

President Mahama is expected to justify why Ghanaians should give him a second chance to serve as President.

The NDC on Sunday, August 14, 2016 launch its campaign at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in the Central Region.

The theme for the launch was: “Changing lives, changing Ghana”.

The National Campaign Coordinator for the party, Kofi Adams in an interview with Citi FM said, “for the transformation agenda to succeed, you need a transformational leader, for sustainable development to go on, you need John Dramani Mahama… We are looking at growth that is supported with transformation.”

Thousands of party supporters thronged the Cape coast sports stadium to be part of the event which signals the party’s preparedness to retain power in the December polls.

President Mahama’s running mate, Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur as well as the party’s national campaign team and parliamentary candidates were outdoored at the event.

The 16 constituencies to be visited are:1. Amenfi Central2. Amenfi East3. Prestea Huni Valley4. Tarkwa5. Evalue Ajomolo Gwira6. Ellembele7. Jomoro8. Ahanta West9. Takoradi10. Effia11. Mpohor12. Kwasimintsim13. Esikado Ketan14. Shama15. Wassa East16. Sekondi.
