"I'll do more polls; I'm not ashamed" - Ben Ephson

Pollster Ben Ephson has said he is unperturbed about attacks on him following his controversial prediction about the presidential race.

The editor of the Daily Dispatch newspaper predicted a one-touch victory for President John Mahama, beating the presidential nominee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo to race to the Flagstaff.

That however appears not to be the case as provisional results collated so far put the NPP flagbearer,Nana Akufo-Addo in a solid lead with 54.63% of votes in more than 250 constituencies.

Speaking to Accra-based Atinka FM on the outcome of the polls, Mr. Ephson said he cannot be deterred by the circumstances.

“I am not ashamed of my polls, this is not the first time I have conducted a poll in Ghana, and I will continue to do more polls when the need arises".
