Some Ghanaians on social media have questioned the rationale behind critics who are asking why Nana Addo missed the presidential debate organised by the National Commission on Civic Education (NCCE).
The 2016 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) did not attend the debate organised by the civic institution to share how they intend to develop Ghana if he becomes president.

But some social media users argue that if Nana Addo was absent at the IEA debate then there is no need being at the NCCE debate as well.
Those who have expressed outrage at his absence also explain that the debate platform would have helped him market himself better for many more Ghanaians to know his plans for the country if he becomes president after the December polls.
