The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) has postponed its Evening Encounter series with the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo.

However, the IEA on its twitter page said: “Our Evening Encounter with Hon. Nana Akufo-Addo has been postponed to a later date.”

The Institute is however yet to communicate the new date for the Evening Encounter soon.

The flag bearers of the People’s National Congress (PNC) and the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Dr. Edward Mahama and Ivor Kobina Greenstreet respectively, have already appeared on the platform to announce their policy strategies to the public.

The Evening Encounters will give the opportunity to each presidential aspirant to make their vision and plans known to a cross section of civil society. These encounters are prior to the Presidential and Vice Presidential Debates to be held in August.
