Hitches in the voting process so far

Some voters have expressed concerns with the positioning of polling booths at the polling stations among others. These have affected the voting process one way or another

1. Some voters have expressed concerns with the positioning of polling booths at the polling stations. Some are demanding that the polling booths be placed in an open area where it will be visible for everyone to see whoever is in the booth.

Voters argued the booth should be placed in the full glare of the public to check miscreants who may want to do anything illegal by soiling ballot papers or voting twice or smuggling illegal materials into the box.

They also want the booths positioned in a manner that will safeguard the secrecy of their vote.

The Only problem in the the polling station is that, voters are seated in a queue overlooking the voting booths, so that it is sometimes possible to see who someone has voted depending on how the voter positions himself.

7. In the Subin Constituency in the Ashanti region some voters could not find their names in the register were made to fill forms.

8. In Bimbila those who could not be verified by the machine could were assisted manually.
