Speaking to Accra-based Class FM, Koku Anyidoho said the National Chairman of his party (Kofi Portuphy) will not do same.
He explained that Freddie Blay only accepted this offer because “he [Freddie Blay] knows Akufo-Addo is not going to win the elections. And, he doesn’t want to be struck twice so, he will rather go for money now and be running ads for president Mahama and when Akufo-Addo loses he continues with his business.”
he said.
Daily Guide Newspaper which is owned by Freddie Blay is running adverts for the re-election of President Mahama ahead of the December polls. This has led to some members of the NPP doubting the allegiance of Blay to the party.
