This is according to ace politician Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi. He argued that the current leadership of the NPP has destroyed the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition, which was handed down to them.

Prof Ahwoi was addressing NDC sympathisers at Subinso in Wenchi where Dr Busia hails.

“Nana Addo has sacked the chairman of his party, Paul Afoko, his General Secretary is nowhere to be found and his vice chairman is also out of the party. It demonstrates Nana Addo’s incompetence which is a reflection of how bad his leadership will be if he were given the opportunity to govern this country.”

He attributed these developments in the opposition party to Nana Addo’s “intolerance and vindictive character”.

Prof Ahwoi was with other party bigwigs of the NDC. Some of them include Deputy Communications Minister, Ato Sarpong, a founding member of the NDC and former head of National Security Totobi Kwakye, the Regional Minister Eric Opoku and the Chief of Staff Julius Debrah.

They addressed several mini-rallies at Nchiraa, Buoko and Chiraa, where they propagated development message of the John Mahama-led administration.

They also met traditional leaders in these areas and urged them to vote for President Mahama to be retained to complete his development agenda for the country.
