'Arise and change incompetent, corrupt Mahama' - Freddie Blay

The acting chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Freddie Blay, has charged Ghanaians, to arise and change President John Mahama and the NDC government in the 2016 general elections.

Addressing party faithfuls at the 15th extraordinary congress in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region, Mr. Freddie Blay stated that Ghanaians have endured for 7 years, under the NDC government, an administration that has proven to be clueless, corrupt and incompetent in every sector of the Ghanaian economy.

According to him, 2016 is about a change from the incompetence the people see, the incompetence we feel and the incompetence we know.

"Let us arise for change by bringing all hands on deck, there are people who are anxious to see this corrupt and incompetent John Mahama and his NDC government kicked out, he noted.

"When we say arise for change, we mean the people of Ghana should rise up, take charge and be the drivers to change course from the wrong direction that John Mahama and his NDC government are recklessly taking the country. The ship of State is sinking. We must make it our patriotic duty to contribute that will to the voting out of NDC in 2016, he added.

He therefore asked Ghanaians to vote a party that is well-versed in the business of governance, and has proven to possess a solid track record in improving the quality of lives of Ghanaians.

Several key personalities of the party including, former President John Kufour, flagbearer of the party Nana Akufo-Addo, his running mate Dr Mahamudu Bawumia are all at the ceremony.
