Ayariga says the suspension is due to "indiscipline and gross disrespect to National Executive committee, and the general membership of APC nationwide" by the two executives.
"Dr Hassan Ayariga and the National Executive Committee wish to inform all APC members nationwide and the general public to refrain from dealing with these two suspended individuals with matters concerning the party till further notice," said in a statement to Pulse.com.gh.
The suspension of Mr Opoku and Bartels comes on the heels of claims by the embattled party officials that APC is endorsing Nana Akufo-Addo.
Mr Opoku said the "endorsement of Nana Akufo-Addo has become very necessary considering the high level of incompetence, corruption, mismanagement of the economy, high rate of unemployment, killer taxes, collapsing of the private sector businesses, high utility bills, nepotism, tribal politicking etc. under the 8 years rule of John Mahama NDC."
He wished Mr Ayariga well for his personal decision to endorse John Mahama for the Presidency.

Mr Opoku, however, urged all Ghanaian voters to vote against the NDC and reject John Mahama in accordance with Revelation 3:16. "
"Voters should honour Nana Akufo-Addo with their votes in accordance with Deuteronomy 5:16 so that all of us can be guaranteed of financial and economic healing in accordance with Acts 5:16," he added.
