The disciplinary committee of the New Patriotic Party are currently locked up in a meeting to decide the fate of the national secretary of the party, Kwabena Agyepong, and second national vice chairman of the party, Sammy Crabbe.

This comes months after the party suspended its National Chairman, Paul Afoko.

The General  Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong had earlier faced the Disciplinary Committee of the party over a petition filed and actions to be taken against him.

This was followed by a petition to the disciplinary committee dated November 2, 2015 and signed by four party members and copied to the National Executive Committee, National Council of Elders, the leader and presidential candidate Nana AKufo-Addo, the Acting National Chairman, and the NPP Deputy General Secretary accused the Mr Agyepong of holding out Paul Afoko as the National Chairman contrary to the position of NEC and the NC.

This follows a petition by two members of the party asking the disciplinary committee to suspend him.

Sammy Crabbe had questioned the locus of the committee to hear him after he refused to recognise Freddie Blay's appointment as acting National Chairman.
