The leader of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings has insinuated that the raiding of offices and homes of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is indicative that there is paranoia within the ruling government.
Her comments comes on the back of the raiding of the office of the Danquah Institute last Thursday by some unknown persons allegedly wearing Ghana Police uniforms.
Subsequently, some members of the NPP trooped to the Nima residence of their flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo to protect him and prevent a possible raid by the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI).
However, the BNI has denied being responsible for raiding the office of Daqnuah Institute, as well as the rumored raid of Nana Addo's house.
Below is Mrs Rawlings’ full Facebook post.
When you see them paranoid. When you see them raiding offices, homes and even cemeteries. When you see them chasing their tails and shadows. You should know their end is near. You can't stop the wind of change. You can't stop the will of the people.Have a happy Easter!#changeiscoming#RestoreGhanaNow
