'I have a lot to offer' - E.T Mensah replies critics

The former NDC MP who served in Parliament for 20 years said he believes the experience he gained in the past years will help him serve efficiently as a member of the Council of State.

 

The former NDC MP who served in Parliament for 20 years said he believes the experience he gained in the past years will help him serve efficiently.

Asked in an interview with Accra-based Joy FM if he can work with the NPP he responded said he has worked with both NDC and NPP peacefully during his political life. He added that this situation cannot be any different.

"If we are able to work together at the Assembly level and in Parliament [why not]?" he said, adding as Sports Minister he had a good relation with NPP MPs.

The founding member of the NDC lost the party’s November 7, 2016, parliamentary primaries to his protégé Sam George who is now the MP.

In the Notice of Poll published by the Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC), ET Mensah’s picture appears fourth in the right column.

He is amongst the list of people who have been nominated to contest in the Greater Accra region.
