In different varieties, the sanitizers have the face of Hassan Ayariga, the APC’s presidential candidate, prominently plastered over it. A photo of the sanitizers was shared by the candidate on his Facebook account.

Hassan Ayariga has been struggling to shake off a perception about him as a joker because of some of his comments and actions during the 2012 elections when he was the presidential candidate for the People’s National Congress (PNC). Some analyst attributed his bitter exit from the PNC to this.
