President says corruption is fighting back

Buhari also assured Kerry that Nigeria’s economic challenges were being "frontally tackled” and would soon be overcome.

 

Buhari said further that the situation has made it difficult to fight corruption.

He made the comments on Thursday, November 17, while meeting with the United States Secretary of State, John Kerry, on the sidelines of the conference on climate change (COP22) in Marrakech, Morocco,

According to a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, Buhari however assured Kerry that his administration would win the war.

“But it is a war we are determined to win, and which we will win. People of goodwill are behind us, countries like America and many others are with us, and we will surely win,” Buhari said.
