Mahama rings Akufo-Addo to congratulate him

Pulse Ghana sources tell us the conversation came in on Friday evening with the president calling his rival to wish him well and promised to help in any way possible to aid a smooth transition process between the two administrations.

Although the Electoral Commission has not officially pronounced Nana Akufo-Addo as the president-elect, many other candidates have already sent their congratulatory messages to the Nana Addo.

Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, Ivor Greenstreet, Edward Mahama and Jacob Osei Yeboah have already congratulated Nana Akufo-Addo on his victory.

Pulse Ghana projections Nana Akufo-Addo fairly in the lead with over 52 percent of the total votes. The New Patriotic Party has also taken control of the Parliament.
