President Nana Akufo-Addo has promised to deal with the violent conduct of the Delta Force, a vigilante group that provides security for the New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti Region.

President Akufo-Addo gave the assurance when he visited the Otumfuor on day two of his tour of the region.
Speaking in Twi he said: “There are a few things, Delta [Force] and other issues that are unpleasant, but we are working to deal with those issues to ensure peace and understanding in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, and the whole country."“I will not ignore such issues. The law applies to everyone in Ghana. I know it is of concern to you, but do not worry, we will ensure that everything is resolved."

On policy interventions he has issued so far, the president noted that his government will be introducing the free Senior High in September.
He further said he is working around the clock in a bid to create jobs for the teaming unemployed youth.
