Akufo-Addo promises decisive action on Delta Force hooliganism
President Akufo-Addo, who is in the Ashanti Region following tension among the rank and file of the party, assured the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II that the crisis surrounding the appointment of the Ahsanti Regional Security Coordinator will be resolved peacefully.

President Akufo-Addo gave the assurance when he visited the Otumfuor on day two of his tour of the region.
Speaking in Twi he said: “There are a few things, Delta [Force] and other issues that are unpleasant, but we are working to deal with those issues to ensure peace and understanding in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, and the whole country."“I will not ignore such issues. The law applies to everyone in Ghana. I know it is of concern to you, but do not worry, we will ensure that everything is resolved."

On policy interventions he has issued so far, the president noted that his government will be introducing the free Senior High in September.
He further said he is working around the clock in a bid to create jobs for the teaming unemployed youth.
