The Founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) Madam Akua Donkor has complained that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo completely hates her after the 2016 general elections.
According to her, the government of Akufo-Addo has refused to invite her to State functions.

She said hatred for her by Nana Addo has left her very worried as she fears she could lose her life.
Speaking on Accra-based Kasapa FM, she said she was not invited by the President nor any of the government appointees to his inauguration on 6 January, 2017, State of the Nation Address (SONA) on February 21, 2017 in Parliament and the Independence Day Celebration on March 6, 2017 at Independence Square, Accra.

She said even if she goes, no seat will be reserved for her at the State functions.
She added that "President Akufo Addo hates me, he doesnt want to see me anywhere he goes. But once the elections are over he should learn to treat everyone equally…whether they voted for him or not.

"During his inauguration I was not invited, the same thing happened during his presentation of the state of the Nation address recently and the latest is the independence day celebration in Accra. What sort of wrong have I done to the President to be treated this way."
