The campaign manager of Nicol who only gave his name as Amakye said the appearance of the three new registers is unfair because they accepted the NEC’s decision without any complains.

This follows the appearance of three new electoral area voters registers as polls are about to come to a close.

The election in the constituency was delayed for nine months due to a disagreement over the voters’ register.

One of the aspirants who bowed out of the race, Theophilus Tetteh had earlier withdrawn a court case he initiated against the party.

The party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) decided to admit two different registers for the Saturday election.

In an earlier interview with Pulse.com.gh, Mr. Nicol said he had no qualms about the voters register but was focused on winning the election.

“We begged the delegates to come and vote for us and now they are here so where from the three new registers? We will not accept this,” he said.

Meanwhile, voting has ended and counting is currently underway.
