The incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ablekuma West Constituency, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful says persons who went to court over the constituency’s voters’ register have been vindicated.
In an exclusive interview with Pulse.com.gh, the MP said the vindication comes from the refusal of one of the aspirants, Theophilus Tetteh to partake in Saturday’s primaries.
“If the conduct of the gentleman who refused to take part is the process is anything to go by, then those who went to court and challenged the previous album have been vindicated,” she said.
According to her, he left the race because he was unsure of his fate.
I will be re-elected
The incumbent MP was certain of winning the elections because according to her, the delegates have promised to retain her as their candidate.
“You see that the delegates have turned out in full force. They have assured me that they will vote for me. I am confident that they will keep their word.”
She however indicated that whichever way the elections will go, she together, with the other aspirant will accept the results.
