Delegates have promised to retain me - Ursula

“It appears that by expanding the delegates’ poll, he feels that some edge he would have had is lost so either he is sure he is going win because he skewed the playing ground in his favour or he is not going to compete at all,” Mrs Owusu-Ekuful explained.

In an exclusive interview with Pulse.com.gh, the MP said the vindication comes from the refusal of one of the aspirants, Theophilus Tetteh to partake in Saturday’s primaries.

“If the conduct of the gentleman who refused to take part is the process is anything to go by, then those who went to court and challenged the previous album have been vindicated,” she said.

According to her, he left the race because he was unsure of his fate.

I will be re-elected

The incumbent MP was certain of winning the elections because according to her, the delegates have promised to retain her as their candidate.

“You see that the delegates have turned out in full force. They have assured me that they will vote for me. I am confident that they will keep their word.”

She however indicated that whichever way the elections will go, she together, with the other aspirant will accept the results.
