Ernest Owusu Bempah is replacing renowned journalist and communication expert Alfred Ogbamey.
Ernest Owusu Bempah is replacing renowned journalist and communication expert Alfred Ogbamey.
Ogbamey has occupied the position since the inception of the company in 2011.
Speaking to StarrFMonline.com Owusu Bempah said his appointment takes effect immediately.
“It is true, I have been appointed Ghana Gas communications director. Once the President has given me my letter, it takes effect immediately.”

Ghana Gas Company is a state agency that has the mandate to operate the infrastructure required for the gathering, processing, transporting and marketing of natural gas resources in Ghana.
President Nana Akufo-Addo has gone against the norm of appointing only his party members for all available positions within his government.
This was also done by former President John Kufuor during his tenure.
