3 suspects arrested with 150 fake passports
According to the police, the suspects were arrested from their hideout at Adabraka in Accra upon a tip-off.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, the Greater Accra Regional Police Commander, ACP Timothy Yosa Bonga, said the police were tipped off that “a syndicate who are based in Adabraka are into the acquisition of fake Visas and other forged documents for unsuspecting prospective travelers.
“Upon receiving the information, the police acted swiftly by dispatching a team of plain clothes personnel to Adabraka to ascertain the authenticity or otherwise of the information.”
He said the police were able to retrieve 150 fake Ghanaian passports and other counterfeit documents from the hideout of the suspects.
The Greater Accra Regional Police Commander said the police also retrieved “22 fake rubber stamps of the Director of Immigration Resident Permit, Ghana Health Service, Ghana Health Service, Ghana Education Service and fake rubber stamps of Akufo-Addo chambers.”
