Navy launches Augmented Immersive Team Trainer that stimulate combat scenarios.

The Office of Naval Research recently, has developed a new technology that will be used to train navy combatants.

The new technology is called the Augmented Immersive Team Trainer. Simply put, it is a pair of goggles that simulates combat scenarios.

During the maiden demonstration, held on a golf course at Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia, USA, representative from various United States military outfits were on ground to see the Augmented Immersive Team Trainer (AITT).

The ONR action officer Le Nolan said: "For Marines, this system increases their situational awareness, whether for training or operations, giving them a wider aperture for information to help make better decisions."
