The 37 Military Hospital in Accra will hold a mass burial of 48 unidentified and unclaimed corpses have been abandoned at the hospital mortuary.
The corpses include victims of the June 3 twin disaster that caused havoc in Accra in 2015.
The mass burial was aimed at decongesting the mortuary, which is currently filled to capacity.

The Hospital has given the families of the deceased 21 days ultimatum from January 23, 2017 to show up at the Hospital to identify and take the bodies.
Authorities at the Hospital in a statement said, 16 bodies of the June 3 Accra flood and fire disaster are part of the bodies.

Only four corpse have been identified out of the sixteen bodies but have not been. They are Hellen Danso, Godspower Moregie, Hanna Quaye and Akwasi Tawiah.
"The continued storage of these bodies is causing severe congestion and affecting the efficiency of the mortuary," the statement added.
The 2015 Accra floods resulted from heavy continuous rainfall in Accra killing about 159 people.
