Three children burnt to death in Takoradi

The bodies of the three children; a boy and two girls have been deposited at the morgue.

Three children have been burnt to death after the kiosk in which they lived with their mother caught fire.

According to media reports, the mother of the children around 2am locked them up to go and buy bread but upon her return, the kiosk in which the children were sleeping had caught fire.

She called for help but when they managed to break into the burning kiosk, the children had been killed by the fire.

The Police have however, arrested the father of the only boy among the deceased children who is alleged to have threatened to kill his son.

He has since been arrested by the Police and investigations into the allegation have begun.
