Two killed in Kasoa gas explosion

The capital has been hit by a host of gas explosions in recent years

Two people are feared dead and two others severely injured in a Gas explosion at Ngleshie Amanfrom near Kasoa.

The accident which occurred around 1 pm was as result of a cylinder explosion.

Public Relations Officer of the Ghana national fire service Prince Billy Anaglatey told Pulseom.gh that "There is an electrical workshop where they use electricity for welding. That's where they have the cylinders and they were painting and packing the cylinders in the Kia track before the explosion."

The Ghana national fire service and the police were called to the scene to put the fire under control.
