Church Building Collapse, UCC Student In Critical Condition

An uncompleted church building caved in on a student of the University of Cape Coast.

An uncompleted building belonging to the Saviour Church of Ghana has caved in at Barekuma in the Atwima Nwabiagya District of the Ashanti region.

The building collapsed on five people including a student of the University of Cape Coast who was assisting the carpenters working on the church building.

A 33-year old student of the University of Cape Coast is in critical condition after he and four others came ground-crushing when the church building they were working on collapsed.

Kwame Yeboah, was rushed to the St. Patrick Catholic Hospital at Offinso-Maase on Monday afternoon in an unconscious state after being referred by the local clinic for what is believed to be severe waist injuries.

He and his colleagues have been assisting three carpenters working on the church building when the tragedy occurred.
