Tragedy 5-yr-old boy dies in well at Asamankese

A five-year-old boy, Kwaku Boateng, has been found dead in an abandoned well

A five-year-old boy, Kwaku Boateng of Brilliant Home Academy met his untimely death when he fell into an abandoned well at Atia, a town near Asamankese in the Eastern Region.

The incident occurred yesterday when a Samaritan informed the mother of the boy Evelyn Sena that she saw a boy floating in the well.

The incident was reported to the Police and the body conveyed to the Asamankese government hospital mortuary for autopsy.

The cause of the death is yet to be established.
