We have confidence in our Candidate & Machinery – NPP

A statement released on Monday evening said “the party has utmost confidence in our Parliamentary Candidate as well as the party’s machinery to deliver an emphatic victory tomorrow.”

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is confident that its candidate, Thomas Duanab Wuni and party’s machinery will deliver an emphatic victory in Tuesday’s Talensi by-elections, a statement by the party’s General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong has said.

The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), the dominant opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), the People's National Convention (PNC), Ghana Freedom Party’s (GFP) and the Progressive People's Party (PPP) are battling it out in the by-election which has become necessary following the enskinment of Mr Robert Nachinab Doameng Mosore as the Paramount Chief of the Tongo Traditional Area and his subsequent resignation as Member of Parliament for the constituency.

“The NPP wishes to express our deepest appreciation to the rank and file of our party for their enthusiasm, hard work, sacrifice and selflessness that they have shown in the run-up to the parliamentary by-election that will take place in Talensi tomorrow.

The party encourages all registered voters in the constituency in general, and our party members especially, to turn-out in their numbers and vote massively for our candidate, Thomas Duanab Wuni.
