I've not resigned; my email was hacked - Kwabena Agyepong

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyepong, has vehemently denied reports of his resignation from the party.Earlier, there was a statement purportedly signed by Mr. Agyepong and sent to media houses with an official letter head of the party which communicated that he had resigned from NPP.

However, in an interview with Peace FM, Mr. Agyepong said he has not resigned and would never resign from the party. According to him, he suspects his email might have been hacked by some people who wish him ousted from the party.

"I have been at home all day. I have not written any letter. I have not resigned. I am still the duly elected General Secretary of my party...They think they can bring me down through psychological means; but God will see us through...", he said.

Some regional executives have asked Mr. Agyepong and the national Chairman, Paul Afoko to resign following their alleged involvement in the killing of Upper East regional chairman, Adams Mahama.
