Mahama Will Be 'Fair' In His Address – Minister

Minister Of Private-Sector Development said President will be forthright in his State of the Nation Address tomorrow.

Minister of State in charge of private-sector development and public private partnerships, Rashid Pelpuo has said President John Mahama will be forthright in his State of The Nation Address scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday February 26, 2015.

The President will be expected to elaborate on the measures his government is taking to address the worsening power crisis in the country and the struggling economy in his address.

This will be the 3rd State of the Nation Address to be delivered by Mr Mahama since he was elected in December 2012.

Speaking to Starr News the Wa central MP said the President will be honest with Ghanaians.

“As usual, we should be expecting very fair address. There will be remarks about the energy situation, there will be remarks about the economy and how we are moving Ghana forward.

“There will also be remarks about how we have fared so far and what is left to be done,” the former Sports minister explained.
