Some angry youth of Kintampo in the Brong Ahafo region have allegedly attacked some fetish priests in the area over strange deaths in their communities.The youth destroyed 10 shrines and other properties belonging to the priests. They are blaming the priests for strange occurrences and deaths in the area lately.

“They (fetish priests) are just flooding Kintampo and its surrounding areas and they keep promising people of doubling their monies for them. Now there is so much confusion in town and people are dying so we realised that the fetish priests were responsible for those things. So we went to their place and burnt it down and we have given them three days to leave or they will face our anger,” leader of the Kintampo Youth, Osei Opoku told Starr News.
