About 3,500 Ghanaian illegal migrants seeking political asylum in Italy would not be granted their request.

According to Dr Liliane Murekatete, Founder and Executive Director of Ecology of the Migratory Flow (EMF), the applications of the migrants were rejected because Ghana is a peaceful and democratic country.
