“During the election petition, I needed to move faster and move quickly to work for the President. And in Ghana you know that our media houses are in certain areas that our trotros cannot move there so the best mode of transportation is to move in taxis. So we move with taxis to get the work done easier, faster and quicker and that is what I have been doing since I joined the team…” George Tetteh Wayoe told Citi News.
“I have spent almost 70,000 Ghana [cedis] for two years, going up and down for the cause of the President during the election petition…” he added
The NPP, in 2012, filed an election petition, challenging President John Mahama’s legitimacy at the 2012 polls but the Supreme Court declared him the winner.
